Sawadee Ka: Krung Thai in Metro Manila (Second time Around)

Typical Sunday turned into a wonderful one. 🙂

Its been one and a half years since Seasielle bond with her friend, and two years since she last ate at Krung Thai. “Ber” months had finally arrived, and gatherings are common scenarios you can see in the country. After everything, finally they (Seasielle and Da) shared an everlasting memory.

Krung Thai is a Thailand inspired restaurant located within the public market of Marikina City (a City within NCR, Ph).

The place was a hot catch since it was lunch time; thankfully, Seasielle’s family didn’t wait to be sat since there was a vacant table good for four (4) people.

What’s on the Menu?
They ordered the following:
Vietnamese Spring Roll
Pad Thai
Chicken Satay
Beef tenderloin
Soup (spicy one)
Thai Ice Tea

Total amount spent: Php 1500 + tip since there was no service charge.

Overall Satisfaction Rating: 3.5
Food: 3.5
Place: 4
Price: 3.5

Reason/s:
The first time that they tried it, everything was sumptuous, and truly melts into your mouth. Now: everything was good for commercial and/or fast food taste.
Then, the price was a bit expensive for the value of the food.
Customer service was good. They still managed to be courteous even though one can see that they were a bit tired already. (Maybe because of the hot weather).
Finally, the location is a bit hard to find for first timers, but since it was their second time around, Seasielle would give it a pop points now.

Overall: It was a well-spent Sunday, and according to her friend she enjoyed the meal very much.

God bless everyone.
